Before the end of the summer, we try to enjoy the beautiful memories in the sun as much as possible, and we will quickly travel back and forth across our cities, states or countries. Even if gasoline prices remain at historically high levels, we still have a passion for our cars. The freedom they represent [even if we only go to our work for 10 miles!], the image they cast [Corvettes and the middle-aged crisis, need me to say more?] and their facts from point A to Point B increased in time. Our good relationship with the car. Moreover, when life imitates the art of this column and I shop [!], we will explore how Feng Shui can help you pick the perfect car!
***When considering buying a new car - how does it feel? If you hate its color, it is the fact of a car or something else, you will immediately hate driving a car. Bad energy or feng shui. ***
It should now be stated that the following tips apply to all vehicles - yes, even golf carts! [This is the actual project my mom offered me to help improve her golf tournament and her golf cart parade in the apartment community [I know] - Stay tuned. Feng Shui not only protects you and your loved ones Damage can also increase your overall luck and positive energy. By treating your vehicle as an environment that can affect your mood, you can also use feng shui to help drive more enjoyable and safer activities.
Are you tired when you are on the road? Try a red tassel with a bell to help relieve sudden fatigue. Remember, RED is a fire color that represents action and yang. The ringing sound also helps to focus and alert you. The clanging of bells and bells also helps to resist negative energy. There is a little fairy bell hanging on my car's rearview mirror - when I was "disturbed" on the road or looking for the perfect parking space - I rang the bell. Stupid, I know, but it makes me [and other occupants in the car] laugh, which in turn raises the positive energy in the car.
Too much mess? Too much stay at McDonald's and Starbucks, and the evidence in the back seat was thrown? Sports equipment all over the back seat and trunk? Does the front passenger seat look like a remote office space, blackberry, iPod and strewn files? Put the stuffed animal on the back frame so that it is a distant memory from the back window? Although clutter will be discussed in a later column, in Feng Shui terminology, clutter is the physical manifestation of our emotional baggage. When your vehicle [or home/desk/office] is full of empty snack bags, full ashtrays and empty bottles, you show the world that you don't care about your views or images. You may also subconsciously feel that you are not worthy or not confident [as if you feel like garbage].
Although many of us are working for a vehicle without a dedicated job, you must try to separate your individual from your work. Save the file in a binder or handbag so that everything is saved in one place. I do see the need for an iPod [!] so that it can be swiped. Blackberry or other mobile phones should not be considered as an accessory when you drive! If you must use OnStar while driving, please use Bluetooth technology or select a phone service via OnStar to resolve security issues.
*** For security reasons, you should not send text messages, IMing or check emails while driving. ***
Every month, you should thoroughly clean your car. This means vacuuming, wiping/cleaning the dashboard and the seat [especially if you have leather - make sure to adjust it! This is a must if you drive a convertible]. Get rid of all the rubbish accumulated in the back seat, empty ashtrays, and sort out what must be left in the car. Before we bought her a golf organizer, my mother's car looked like a sports shop/closet! Shoes, golf tees, golf shirts, socks... your name - plus the club in the trunk will not leave any space - everywhere. This stuffed all of her coupons into a cup holder, and another sunglasses made her car a mess. The golf organizer is great because all her clothes, T-shirts and other accessories are now in one place, not scattered, and packed into the suitcase with the club. Therefore, the rear seat is released. I haven't let her "vacate" the cup holder - although she doesn't have the addiction to me, it doesn't matter to her - but I'm still working for her. Cleaning the windows in the car is also a must for safety - it is always good to see where you are going, especially at night or in bad weather! But from a feng shui perspective, clean glass/windows symbolize a clear future and/or goals, as well as natural light that can bring positive energy into your space.
*** Clean the windows every time you inflate! Windows is considered the "eyes" of cars/houses/offices; so they should stay clean and see clearly! ***
A very scented car also makes the journey smoother. I hope that after you have thoroughly cleaned, you should have no odor, but by using aromatherapy, you can help manipulate your emotions while driving. Do you have a long journey? Use peppermint to help you. Want to be more relaxed and less anxious in daily commuting? Use orange to help with decompression. There are various car diffusers there - some are inserted into the cigarette lighter, some are just clay shapes that can be hung on the rearview mirror or placed in an unused cup holder [again with an empty cup holder!]. I have a small terracotta heart, hanging a fairy bell from my rearview mirror. According to my mood, I will use several different fragrances. These terracotta diffusers are ideal for warm weather/climate conditions, as the sun shines into the car, which helps spread oil/aroma throughout the car! I like this.
Many of you have heard of hanging crystals in your car to help bring positive energy. Crystals can also help break down and disperse stagnant energy. [Remember to keep your crystal clean!]. This is also a good idea - but don't hang on crystals larger than 10mm from the rearview mirror. Anything bigger looks like a big disco ball hanging there, shaking back and forth, causing the driver around you to be blind when the sun hits. Undoubtedly, the feng shui is not good!
*** When buying a crystal in a car or other place, just buy a real crystal ball, point... any shape. Glass, plastic or other materials cannot conduct the same energy as real crystals. Be sure to ask and verify the material before purchasing. ***
Ok,
- Just like in all spaces, your vehicle should be clean and fresh to promote good, healthy energy movements.
- Don't mess with clothes, stuffed animals, sports equipment, etc. in the back seat, as this will reduce the positive energy in your car, causing negative, chaotic and stressful environments. If you don't like it, use it or need it and get it.
- Some feng shui practitioners will tell you to place fluffy mats and/or blankets on your car to help balance the road's hard yang energy and calm, comfortable energy. I personally are a "less is more" type of person, but if you throw a blanket in the back seat or you feel that you need to "decorate" your car with some key pillows, if it does not affect your driving, then go Let's go. It should be noted that if your dog is traveling with you and/or if you live in a cold climate, you will need a blanket.
- The fewer items hang from the rearview mirror - the days of obscuring the dice, the graduation hooligans [!] for more than 1 year after graduation or any other items that are too big and will damage your driving [or other items] the driver is afraid of you] need to be dismantled . In Feng Shui philosophy, if this item falls off, it means that it has protected you from negative energy and replace it immediately.
- Use music to help you set the driving atmosphere - Classic driving allows you to relax while driving long distances, some jazz for dinner, classic rock for your commute... no matter how you set your mood. I personally like the Jimmy Buffet because it reminds me of warm, sunny beach time and takes me away from the cold and snow of Wisconsin. Remember, loud, radical concerts encourage radical driving - let NAS music stop in your daily commute.
- According to Calgary author/indoor designer Margo Trofimenkoff, you can determine the gender of your car by installing a gas cap. When you face your car from the front, if the gas cap is on the right, it means feminine, male on the left.
- Name your car [see above]. If you have personal contact with your care, you are more likely to deal with the problem, keep it clean and maintain it in a timely manner. [My car name is Tiffany, based on color sterling silver].
- Keep your car in good working order. Change oil in time, keep the tires inflated, replace the burnt lights and keep the window cleaning fluid full [it is always empty after the storm!].
- Make sure doors and windows [as in any space] are opened and closed easily and quietly. Any persistence or difficulty will bring tension at the beginning of each journey. Doors that are not properly closed can also stress the windows, causing the windows to rupture/fracture.
- When parking, try to leave a passage to make the entrance unobstructed. It should also be noted that you should not face a house/office/building because it may subconsciously pose a threat to the occupants of the building - this feeling is the feeling of the car entering the space. The park is parallel or deviating from the space.
- When choosing a color for a car, interior color is the most important choice because it is the most direct color...
