In 1959, archaeologists found a city that was considered the capital of the Xia Dynasty. There is still a lot to learn about this early Chinese civilization.

A large city wall was built around the city for defense. The nobility became stronger, the Zhou Dynasty was over, and China entered the Warring States period.
The Qin Dynasty [221-206 BC] Qin Dynasty unified China in 221 BC. [under the leadership of Emperor Qin Shi]. During the Qin Dynasty, legalists strengthened state power through clear interpretation and strict enforcement of laws. Abolish feudalism. Weights, measures, currency and legal systems are standardized.
In the Han Dynasty [206 BC to 220 AD], the Han people continued to unify and expand China. Initially, most of the laws and regulations established by the Qin Dynasty were preserved, but the principles of Confucius became the foundation of the government until 1911 [the monarchy was overthrown]. During the reign of Emperor Wu, Chinese territory became larger than the Roman Empire. He also pioneered the trade route from Xi'an, Shaanxi Province to Central Asia and the Silk Road on the east coast of the Mediterranean.
